Hello my friends! Oh, I miss this community SO MUCH!! <D I realized I hadn't updated my journal since April, and that made me really sad. It also makes me sad that I haven't drawn anything in forever. I miss art, and I miss trying to improve my art by trying different techniques. I miss making tutorials. I miss the friends and sites that I worked for. I miss my friends on dA (WHY ARE YOU NOT ON MY FACEBOOK!?). I miss flash (ok, maybe not really, flash animation was HARD). I've sort of gotten into photography now. Pirate So, I need to get a cell phone and plan in the States. I'm going to be there for this summer and for the next two years. I'm going down in early May to sign up for one. I need help or suggestions on good plans/phone types/companies that I should go with! I was told AT&T and Verizon are the two big ones. I want caller ID, voicemail, texting. I also want to be able to call and text Canada. I haven't found anything for calling/texting Canada yet... HELP! thanks PS. I'm with Fido right now, and have a phone that requires a sim card. the phone though, is almost 2 years old, so i'm thinking it'd be best to get a new one anyways. i keep my schedule on my phone, so i need something good with doing that as well. yep. Pirate My journal died because I don't have a subscription anymore. Thus the lack of pictures and pretty colours. SOOOOOOOOOO... I got into every school I applied to!!! I got into Yale and they are offering me a full tuition scholarship. There was only one harp position available for this year, and I got it. I tham 99% sure I will be going there next year!!!! SO EXCITING. Also, I'm going to Aspen, Colorado this summer to attend the Aspen Music Festival and School. Now you have been updated. What is everyone doing this summer, and/or next year? ok, Now I have to get back to practicing! Pirate 
I have not updated in forever... but i have been checking back every so often. man. TALK ABOUT BUSY!!! Grad school applications. that's all I need to say. Last year of my Bachelor. LAST YEAR!??!! i don't want to leave. But my best friends are leaving. So I am in the middle, stuck. ah! For all who are interested, i'm applying to Eastman, Manhattan School of Music, Yale, U of T and McGill as my backup. going down to NYC in december for lessons. AHHH CRAZINESS! I'm also in a bit of a pickle because my subscription runs out in a few days, and as little time busy life leaves for deviantart, it makes going through artwork and comments so much fast with a subby. If anyone out there has an interest in buying little old me one ^^ i will draw artwork! D: but it just might be around Christmas time before i can have it done up.. yeah. LOTS OF LOVE, I miss my dA peeps. :C

Pirate GIVE ~cartoonist SOME LOVE! she bought me a 3 monther, i am so happy! :'D artwork is coming your way. Wow. That was the fastest 6 weeks I've ever lived. I just got back home today. I was away at a music camp for 4 weeks, then we took our program rep on tour across easternish Canada. I can say I've had quite the summer, and got to know people very well, definately making friendships that will last a life time. I'm really sad it's over. I can say that I finally got to meet ~Bokin!!! YAY!! <3 awesome times in Toronto. I am definately going to go back and visit, as well as for the shopping! I have a couple weeks free now before school starts. If people would like commissions, I'd be open for some $10 commissions. Send me a note if interested! hope everyone is having great summers!! nothin' Pirate Commissions are now closed! I'm going to be away for music camp for the next 6 weeks, and will be back mid-August. I'm bringing my laptop with me this time, so I'll have internet, but I'm not sure how often I'll be checking in here. Here I go being busy again! It's never ending in the music world.

...... break please.. break with drawing! Pirate So. the summer has finally arrived. I leave for home this weekend. Then I have two months before hoping on a plane to go do NYOC again. I'll be taking a summer course while at home. I am so tired from this semester. This semester has been the craziest EVER, so much work, so much stress, so much.. busy-ness. It's unbelievable I survived. I think if I didn't have God to set me back in place, I don't think I would have gotten as far as I have. I can not begin to describe some of the major events that happened this semester, but they have been major, and I've been discovering new things about myself every day which I have been learning from. Anyways, I plan to come back to dA once I'm back home, and I really want to get my art back up. I either want to start a project of some sort (maybe I'll start that lilo and stitch experiment thing up again), or just start taking commissions hard core again. That will get me back! but first I'd need people to commission me.. bleh. Just posting now because I haven't forever.. even though I check dA like, every second day. I miss my online friends, and have been thinking of you lately, just letting you know that... That is all for now!! ...... break please.. break with drawing! Pirate Dude, so, my reading break started today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which means this coming week I will, more than likely and most possibly, have FREE TIME! So in my attempt to make some extra money during this time, I will be taking discounted commissions, for $10! This will get you a more cute than anything drawing of anything you want! It'll be just the character or thing, no background, maybe a patterned background, depends what it calls for. I'm excited to get back into drawing, so hit me with what you got! Pirate So, yes, this month has been amazing, but it's not because I haven't uploaded anything decent for ages. I NEED TO DRAW SOMETHING CUTE! I've been craving it for a while. I want to tell you guys what I've been up to for the past little while. This month is amazing because 1. school started up again, and I love what I do, so it makes me happy. 2. LOST STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amazingness. 3. I played celtic harp with a Montreal indie-pop band last night, and it was also great. 4. I joined the snowboard club, which goes out to hills every weekend, so I am going every second weekend or so for skiing! So much fun! 5. I joined the school's music contemporary improvisation ensemble (for credit) and dropped it because it went way over my head... i need structure in my music playing... and that made me happy! 6. My celtic band recorded a CD earlier before Christmas, and I just finished the final CD design work. The CDs will be coming in maybe late February when they will be for sale!! 7. Today is a chinese new year concert and I know the conductor so I get to go to the chinese dinner as well as the concert, and I was told there will be chinese dancers! I'm excited!! 8. I herd llamas.
<3 practice... Pirate After a long 6 months I am home!!!! I haven't had this much free time since late spring last year. wow. this break is well needed. so i'll be home for two weeks, which means.... commissions!! i'll keep my commissions open until January 1st, then it'll be time for me to start packing and getting ready to go back to Montreal. So if you are interested, send me a note or email! whooooo, it's drawin' time. practice... Pirate ...and I don't get to sleep in. D: Choir rehearsal for the cantata today. The past few weeks have been the most busy I've ever been. I actually haven't found some free time for myself, and when I do have free time, I use it to check my email, then I get an email having to do with, say, audition applications, then I start working on that. I think I'm a workaholic. I've sort of started to crash mid week by having sleeping problems, like waking up at 5am and just worrying so much that I couldn't fall back to sleep, and I had a while where I had nightmares every night (of course, due to the stress). yeah, and I feel like I'm behind in my practicing due to these stupid auditions!! i just hope it's worth it in the end. So that's why I haven't been drawing lately, even if I wanted to, I haven't had the time. School ends in a week and a half, so I'll be happy once that's over, because my final exam schedule is really light! Drawing will be happening mid december, for sure (hopefully)! : D Pray for there to be no more stress please. D: I miss you all!
practice... Pirate So I AM alive, but I just don't upload anymore. D: which makes me super sad, because I do want to draw again. I just don't have time. School is taking over. Although, I do check my dA pretty much every day, so message wise, I am up to date. yeah, so my pageviews are almost at 400,000 if they haven't hit already in the time I'm taking to write this journal. whoo! I need to draw something. I have the feeling the first opportunity may be... thanksgiving? maybe? or maybe christmas... eep. practice... It's been nonstop, and now I have a cold from it, but it was totally worth it!! I would be here all night if I was to type everything up, so I'll just tell you I had an awesome time at NYOC and learnt so much from the training session. The tour was ten times more fun then the training session and got to know people really well. Vancouver (Victoria and Whistler as well) was a blast, as well as Seattle, we saw pretty much everything to see. Camping was relaxing, but amazing at the same time; got to see the Philadelphia orchestra four times (for free at that!) and saw some horse racing. Now I'm back at my apartment in Montreal and am attemping to clean and do laundry while uploading 500 pictures on facebook. 
I hope everyone had amazing summers too!! Ok, now to tend to all these messages... practice... Pirate So, I'll be gone for a couple months... I'll have internet access, but no access to a tablet (boo!). I don't know how often I will be on here, but I'll try to sign in once in a while to check messages. If you really need to contact me, just send me an email, or facebook me. So where will I be in these two months!? Well, I leave tomorrow for Montreal which I'll be there for 3 days to see some of the jazz fest! Then I'm off to London, ON with NYOC on their training session for a month (playing orchestral, chamber and solo music nonstop, YES!!), then we'll be going on tour around Ontario, Quebec, Vermont and New York (Long Island) for two weeks after (if you live in any of these areas, you should come hear our concert!!). The final concert of the session will be in Toronto, which the next morning I will be catching a flight out to Vancouver!! I've never been that far west. I'll be there for a week, then will fly back to Montreal. The next morning (yeah, it's nonstop 
), I'll be catching a bus to upstate New York for some good old camping! I'll be back around the end of August, and will then have a week to catch up on my practicing before school starts!! Wish me luck. I know it'll be tons of fun, but all this traveling may make me sick.. meh. it's worth it. ANYWAYS, I hope everyone is having a grrrrreat summer so far (winter if you're in the southern hemisphere) and I hope no one is stressing out too much over school, work, or anything!
