I suck :P What should I do?

1) *Suck art wise, and is starting to suck music wise because I have been playing too much celtic harp and my technique has been going backwards. But reason to be for the art is because I just don't do it anymore. I always believed my music was real talent and my art was something I worked for and practiced for. Since I haven't had any time at all to just sit down and draw, I feel my drawing skills have been going away... I need a reason to draw again, and I don't get enough commissions to keep up my drawing skills. What should I do?

2) Wholey bagels, what is with all the spam on my front page??

3) Would you be interested in buying my bands CD? Only $10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's no samples of the pieces, but I tell you it sounds amazing, we got to record it at school, meaning McGill, which is the best recording School in the WORLD! Here's the link to the site:

1st thing is you don't suck you are just stuck in a rut. With the music take a break have a week of no music the break will do you good. Likewise with the drawing or start draw for yourself, and try and draw something different. Look at an article in a magazine and see if you can come up with an illustration for it. look at your CD collection and think I can do a better job than that and redesign it. I have noticed a lot of cute stuff in your gallery (not a criticism its awesome, that's why I added you on deviant watch)try something darker or evil looking. Try and get the love of drawing and music back into your life because you do have a skill and it would be a shame to lose it.

But I should have clarified lol.
Music is my life, I am studying music in university, thus it is impossible to take a week off or my teacher will think I have gone insane haha. Only excuse to take time off would be an injury.

Second, the CD design is it! D: I thought it was really good, we've already ordered 100 of them and everything... what is wrong with it?

I'll try the dark stuff, but I usually go for cute because it's easier to draw and less detail sometimes xD i'm lazy like that. i just need to find TIME to draw, that is my problem.. when sleep looks so good compared to drawing, sleep usually takes priorety haha

First off good luck on your exam, I'm sure you'll nail it

Personally I think you are made of pure talent no matter what you do, although I will continue to say I was so astounded by your playing performance I know that will really carry you going forward. To me your art skills are just icing on the cake (this isn't even including your incredible personality, that speaks for itself

) It's really up to you in what you want to, I say do it whenever you just want to get away or tweak with your time available. Although I'm surprised too that your commissions are so low, you certainly deserve more.

The spam thing is just disgusting at this point, I was getting junk notes myself too. It looks like nobody's safe.

And as far as the journal layout maybe if you wanted to look around you could commission one or find out if anyone might help you out with a design. =Kuitsuku made mine but I know *maygikal is making them now for people too, two people I know you're familiar with.

1. How about letting a few like the first few people who comment get a request. That way you can hand out a little art an attract new customers and practice all at the same time. If you say your art sucks I'll have to beat you with Thor's hammer!

1. you dont' suck; everyone gets in a rut every once in a while! doodling whenever you find the time is good, too. even the little doodles help keep your skills up; being able to draw at all is above rusty photoshop skills or something

You so do NOT suck. Even on your worst of days you do not suck. Just get through this busy period, and everything will start flowing again; try not to stress. And don't worry about the spam - it seems to have taken over dA. Save a cd for meeeee! Just tell me when I need to send you money
